Senior Quality Engineer

Headquartered in the heart of the automobile industry, Stuttgart (Germany), our expertise stretches from automotive, healthcare, travel, financial, governmental, and insurance to manufacturing industries.
Our team is over 50 people including web (C#/.NET, Java, JS) & mobile (iOS/Android/Ionic) developers together with business analysts, project managers, QA, and support staff. Our corporate culture is characterized by agile processes, autonomous teams without hierarchies, as well as openness and transparency – both internally and with our clients. Currently, we are searching for a Senior Quality Engineer to join the big team of professionals. We are looking for an active, responsive, and devoted person.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience (6+ years) in software testing with a focus on testing RESTful APIs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of API testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, JMeter, etc.
- Experience with test automation using tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Certification in software testing is preferred.
- Fluent English speaker is a must.
